CLOT MARKS ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY WITH EXCITING COLLABORATIONS AND ACTIVATIONS
CLOT celebrates its 20-year milestone in 2023 with exciting activations set to roll out throughout the year.
For 20 years, CLOT has been pushing culture forward through bridging communities and creativity East and West, and from past, present, to the future. This year, the company marks its 20th anniversary honoring the two-decade pioneering journey, as it continues to pave the way for new cultures and young Chinese creatives everywhere.
With a passion for subculture, Edison Chen founded CLOT with his crew in 2003, sharing his favorite streetwear brands from around the world with the opening of the first JUICE store. Fueled by a desire to show the world the possibilities and capability of Chinese-made creations, the CLOT brand was established thereafter, where Chen took the helm as creative director to promote rich culture from his Chinese roots on the global stage through thoughtfully-designed apparel and goods with an East-meets-West narrative. Other than its mainline creations, CLOT has taken its mission further through partnering with international names in the likes of Nike, Jordan Brand, Converse, Rimowa, visvim, fragment design, Medicom Toy, sacai and more, to create sold-out collaborations, solidifying its international presence in the process.
This year, in celebration of CLOT’s 20th anniversary, a series of #CLOT20 activations ranging from retrospectives, pop-ups, in-store promotions and more are scheduled to launch throughout the year, highlighted by a series of commemorative collaborations. The curated list of collaborators shall include not only key players who have made major impacts in the shaping of CLOT, but also new, esteemed partners, along with aspiring elites that are set to lead us towards the future.
“Twenty years is a long journey, and we couldn’t have done it without our CLOT family, community and our supporters,” says CLOT Founder and Creative Director Edison Chen. “To commemorate our 20 years we have created exciting products with new and long-term collaborative partners.
